1. Take a screenshot and turn on Windows 7/10 on a portable computer using the app
Windows 10 and Windows 7 both come with a dedicated app called 'Shooting Tool' for capturing any screenshot. An application captures a screenshot and saves it as an image file without attaching it to another application.
- To do so, go to Start Menu and search for Shooting Tool.
- The app will open with options such as 'New', 'Mode', 'Delay', 'Cancel', and 'Options'.
- The New button will allow users to take a screenshot on a portable computer any way they like (freeform, without any set size or shape).
- The 'Mode' option, on the other hand, allows you to select the type of screenshot you want - you can choose anything from a full-screen rectangle to a free form.
- The 'Cancel' button will close the process, while the 'Delay' option will allow you to set a screenshot time frame.
2. Print screen on Windows using this key
In addition to the app, the Windows desktop computer also allows users to touch something on the screen using the 'PrtScn' key. You can print screens on both Windows 10/7-powered laptops using this option.
- The PrtScn key is mainly located in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
